Baltimore Design Manual Update Process Underway, Meetings Scheduled

Monday Feb 4th, 2019

The Department of Planning has been working to update the Baltimore City Design Manual that was enacted in 2017 with the City’s new Zoning Code. A public meeting is scheduled for February 11, 2019.

The updated draft addresses most of the inconsistencies and ambiguity that came to light in the past year of implementation, as well as new design and development trends that emerged.

The proposed changes will be presented to the Planning Commission for consideration on February 21, 2019.  Public testimony and input will be taken.
