Zoning Update for City Council Bill #21-0113/Zoning Modifications

On November 18, 2021 the Planning Commission is preparing to vote on City Council Bill #21-0113.  The meeting and log in information can be found on our Planning Commission Agenda at https://planning.baltimorecity.gov/november-18-2021

In preparation for the meeting, staff is preparing amendments to be presented as part of the staff report.  A draft of the proposed amendments can be found here. Please note that these may change prior to the hearing on November 18th.

On October 19, 2021 the Department of Planning hosted a virtual evening public meeting to garner feedback and input on City Council Bill #21-0113/ Zoning Code Modifications.

This bill was introduced on behalf of the Administration for the Department of Planning.  It is part of our Department's commitment to review and update the City's Zoning Code periodically since its enactment on June 5, 2017.

While we presented the contents of this bill and took testimony at the October 7th Planning Commission Hearing, there was no vote. This is so that we had more time to hear from you.

You can view this PPT slideshow for background information prior to the meeting.
