For each building included in the 21st Century Schools Building program, the Department of Planning has established an INSPIRE Planning area and is working to complete an INSPIRE Plan with recommendations for walking route and area improvements. As of 2023, thirteen plans have been reviewed and adopted by the Planning Commission and elevan plans are in progress.
